Health IT was riding high in 2010 because of the stimulus money, but if stimulus is not enough to even make a dent in the costs for hospitals, many are going to avoid utilizing it altogether.<br /><br />But I think there is cause for hope. The Health Affairs blog published a post (http://bit.ly/dO35Ij) today about how the Obama administration has helped thaw the health IT market by wresting certification control away from CCHIT. They argue that it has driven prices lower. <br /><br />I'm not sure that there's really a bubble. Bubbles always burst, and I'm not convinced that health IT is heading down that path.
