I know that first hand with years of trying to entire doctors and their staff to look at easier methodologies to get things done.

We are now at the point to where we all need to participate and learn at some level as those who have already done this are getting impatient and when those who don't participate or have at least a little knowledge speak out, they end up looking silly in the news too at times, in other words the lack of knowledge sticks out a bit and does not at all times lend a favorable impression.

I couldn't help myself watching the CEO of Goldman look at those mounds of paper. Just think if a broker tried to do business that way, that went away years ago as we are "real time" world today.Medical Quackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12443589277651479846noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3741684961227307530.post-65270938686472308362010-04-30T12:01:23.198-07:002010-04-30T12:01:23.198-07:00Wow - lots of interesting stuff in this article bu...Wow - lots of interesting stuff in this article but the highlight for me is the phrase "culture of non participation".

From politicians choosing not to participate in what has historically been the political process, to the electorate choosing not to participate by understanding anything beyond a sound byte knowledge of issues this culture of non participation is distressing.

Yet we continue to make progress. The progress is slow but it is steady. Watching what is going on with financial and healthcare reform is way to much like seeing sausage being made. But, in five years the process will have been forgotten and people will be used to the new normal.

I laughed when reading your comments the other day about the volume of paper on display during the Goldman hearings. It sort of reminded me of the auto hearings where the "leaders" of the auto industry took their private jets to Washington to beg for money.Stevehttp://www.emrdailynews.comnoreply@blogger.com
