Good call by the police on this one for wasting time on the 911 line and distracting people who are trying to do their job and provide emergency services to those who need the help. TAMPA, FL -- There are numbers you can call if you're looking for...companionship.
But Tampa Police say Joshua Basso's problem was that he had run out of cell phone minutes.
So he called the only number he knew wouldn't cost him anything, 911.
Police say Basso, 29, called 911 four times to ask the operator for sex.
