April 15 (Bloomberg) -- Siemens AG, Europe's biggest engineering company, said it hasn't received a ``serious offer'' from Draegerwerk AG for the 25 percent stake it holds in Draeger Medical AG.
``We think that our partner would approach us if they were serious about it,'' Siemens spokesman Constantin Birnstiel said by telephone today, confirming comments by Chief Financial Officer Joe Kaeser. Luebeck, Germany-based Draegerwerk holds the remaining 75 percent in the unit.
Financial Times Deutschland reported yesterday that Draegerwerk wants to end its cooperation with Siemens on medical technology, citing unidentified people from the industry.
