This may give answers to both irrational and rational behavior...of course levels may be higher on active trading days...so is is knowledge or raging hormones that really influence the trading on Wall Street....or a little of both...BD

"However, if testosterone reaches physiological limits, as it might during a market bubble, it can turn risk-taking into a form of addiction, while extreme cortisol during a crash can make traders shun risk altogether."
