This might be a big improvement over the testosterone you can run in like a cream as I see all kinds of warnings on those products as if you have a little on your hands, you can transfer it to another person, like a child who doesn’t need it.
Like anything you sniff it could give you a scab, noted as one of the side effects. You can read the full list of side effects below. Wonder how long before we see snortable Viagra maybe (grin). BD
The FDA has okayed an inhalable formulation of testosterone (Natesto) to treat hypogonadism, according to drugmaker Trimel Pharmaceuticals.
The drug, previously known as CompleoTRT, comes as a nasal spray taken in two spritzes three times a day. Each spray contains 5.5 mg of testosterone, bringing the daily total to 33 mg.
Trimel Pharmaceuticals is also exploring the use of its nasal testosterone in female orgasmic disorder, releasing top-line data earlier this week. A phase II trial lasting 84 days reported more orgasms with nasal testosterone than with placebo: 2.3 versus 1.7.
The most common adverse reactions were an increase in prostate specific antigen (PSA), headache, rhinorrhea, epistaxis, nasal discomfort, nasopharyngitis, bronchitis, upper respiratory tract infection, sinusitis, and nasal scab, the company said.
