The end of negotiations between Blue Cross and Methodist Hospital in Arcadia has begun to affect patients.
One Blue Cross patient, Briana Drenen, expected to deliver her baby in July at hospital. But Blue Cross told the 29-year-old Tuesday she could no longer have her baby there because of the contract termination.
Those who are insured under Blue Cross of California are unable to be treated at the hospital unless they are one of the covered exemptions.
