Medical device company MCS Medical Compression Systems (DBN) Ltd. (TASE:MDCL) said yesterday that three hospitals had ordered its second generation device for use in orthopedic surgery. The newest version of the company's device is designed to serve as an alternative to the anticoagulants used to prevent thrombosis during surgery, as opposed to its first product which was used in conjunction with medication. Because of the saving on medication it offers, Medical Compression will be able to market the latest version of its device at a higher price.
