The duck was flying at 700 feet when he/she crashed into the windshield of the helicopter, maybe looking for food? With bouncing in so abruptly the bird turned off a few switches just from impact and moving around before it landed on the foot of one of the medical crew. Luckily nobody was seriously hurt and the trauma patient was transported to the hospital after the landing. The pilot had some problems reported with his eye, and perhaps glass from the intruding duck. No word yet on the condition of the duck. BD
