After viewing the video, take a look at the post below.  Are we leaving anything out with “meaningful use” and hopefully keeping the patient/doctor in control of health issues and not overlooking the developments and potential use from the “other side” which constitutes saving money only?  As I have mentioned before the HHS job is around 70% HIT focused so I hope this issues are also considered when it comes to privacy and pursuing life as a human so we are not function like drones to electronic devices in the pursuit of saving money. 

Patients and Doctors need to be in control and educated on how to improve their own healthcare without an iron hand process of risk management doing the dictating, but rather working as a partner.  When considering giving additional incentives to employers, items of such must be considered before they grow in the background without being noticed. 

The use of devices through PHRs (personal health records) will help us attain these goals.  BD
