This is an interesting partnership to drive digital purchases and get in shape at the same time. Life Time Fitness also has corporate wellness programs as well and it appears some locations offer “spa” services inside the gym with everything from a massage to skin care. We don’t have them in California thus I was not familiar with all their offerings. Up and coming too are savings on cell phones and mobile phone accessories and services. Gee maybe the cell phone vendors will move over to the gyms and have their booth there too?
In looking at the site, there’s all kinds of other deals offered through the company such as Avis Rent a Car, Jiffy Lube, Sam’s Club, Toyota, ADT Security Alarms, Netflix and more. These are coupons and we know what happens with coupons, data is profiled and collected so just think your neighborhood gym is now connected to all the associates here to provide and/or potentially sell and share data. Additionally, Life Time and Best Buy Mobile plan to offer incremental future savings on cellular phones, including smart phones, mobile phone accessories and services.
Where I live Lifetime Fitness is being forced to be more competitive due to the likes of AnyTime Fitness (also 24/7, charges $38/mo), Planet Fitness (mostly 24/7, charges $10/mo), FirstTime Fitness (closes late, charges $19/mo), and soon to come 24Hr Fitness (charges $300/2 years).
ReplyDeleteIf one is comparing Life Time to other clubs based solely on price and hours, he or she is not understanding the Life Time model. No other health and fitness facility offers the programs and amenities as Life Time. They don't even come close. Where Life Time is basically a resort for healthy lifestyles, the competitors listed in the previous comment are basically gyms with equipment.
