The latest ad on TV, I believe, ignores the real benefits and issues surrounding this product. It's like Pfizer hasn't heard any feedback over the last several years. The ad doesn't address the benefits of delivering insulin, a better, more natural method of maintaining normal sugars (vs oral drugs) without needles. Pfizer does not put into context the side effects of Exubera vs oral drugs or the size and ease of use issues. I doubt they should say or show that the inhaler can be used in a very public place or they will lose credibility and they should deal with the cost issues-insulin pens are expensive. Put some perspective on all of the issues and address them head on. This is a pioneering effort, stop being weak, the naysayers have executed a much better promotional plan than Pfizer has and theirs isn't even coordinated.
