The program called "Pulse, the Virtual Clinical Learning Lab" has been used at A&M Corpus Christi to train medical students.The video game format creates emergency scenarios students can learn from.
BreakAway Games has been awarded a license to sell hospitals medical training simulation technology it has been researching for several years.
The game, called Pulse!!, was developed along with the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and creates a 3-D world where hospital workers can practice responding to crisis situations.
