This is very scary! How many more “economic decisions” will be made with such serious consequences? I was a little disappointed too this week to find even Hershey has found a way to make economic decisions on not putting real cocoa butter in candy bars, but at least it’s a natural substitution, and there is also the antioxidant chocolate bar that is healthy for us from Hershey.
How far will the current wave go, and how can we keep ahead of the game before we have to read of tragic results like this?
What also bothers me a bit is the FDA creating fake blood pressure commercials for a survey? We have enough problems trying to keep the real stuff straight.
A couple weeks ago it was announced there is an upcoming device that will be able to determine if pills are counterfeit or real, and perhaps we may need a similar device someday to check out the food we eat? When it comes to drug and food safety, some of the economic decisions being made by others are proving to be deadly in more ways than one. BD

How many more incidents of faulty products from China are going to allow. Evidently, they don't have enough regulation in their country to prevent these things from happening and then we don't have the resources to screen the products once they get here. Lead painted toys, heparin, milk...what next?
