This is an interesting opinion story from an individual that has a natural health site, which many have been criticized over the years as over talking what natural herbs and cures can product as far as results.  This particular individual states only 1% of his entire site was related to cancer and he still received a letter from the FDA about how the product was listed.  There has been a study done by the American Association for Cancer Research with Bloodroot as well.  If you read further, I have included the paragraphs with the links for further reading.

Take a look and make your own assumption, but it seems pretty interesting that Pharma is creating a synthetic version of the product, which there are many of those on the market today with synthetic ingredients.  As far as a cure for cancer, it is getting closer and as recent studies have shown, everything does not work the same for everyone and with the advances in genomics, we are getting a lot more information a lot faster.

Anymore it's almost a sin to leave any stone unturned when it comes to research so perhaps there could be a case to take a look and possibly get some scientific information in house and to hear a bit more about what Pharma might have the pipelines for bloodroot.  Originally it was used as a cure for Malaria by the Chinese.

Well again, I would say bring it in the fold and let's get some additional information if it does have the potential of helping imagecure any disease. Perhaps a meeting of the minds with the FDA and the natural herb supplement folks could lead to a good thing.  BD

(NaturalNews) Mention the word "cancer" on an Internet site that sells herbs now days and you are suddenly Public Enemy Number One! I received a warning letter from the FDA basically saying, "If you do not change your wording and making of any claims or publishing testimony of anyone cured of cancer by herbs or anything else that is not an FDA approved drug then we will legally raid your property, take all we want to confiscate and arrest you". I was one of the "lucky 25" that received a warning letter last month.

But to get to the more interesting points, one of the things the FDA was most specific about in the letter was a link posted at the site to a remarkable study done by The American Association for Cancer Research. The study was on on Bloodroot (Sanguinaria canadendis) as an anti-cancer substance.

Here is a link to a page with pictures of the plant and many links From the U.S. National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health to studies showing that the drug companies already have a synthetic version of this and how they have "proven" this to cure cancer!
