There certainly hasn’t been a shortage of products for GERD, there are implants and now a device to better test, monitor and diagnose. It goes through either your nose or your mouth, like roto rooter it appears.
Just give it a few more years here and I don’t think I’ll be able to recognize any equipment my doctor is using (grin). BD
Galway medical device developer Crospon has secured a global deal for its flagship gastroenterology product, EndoFLIP. Crospon develops leading-edge minimally invasive medical devices for monitoring, diagnosis and therapy in the gastroenterology area.
The EndoFLIP tool, which is pending US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval, was designed by Crospon to provide a more physiologically relevant diagnostic test for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
