Anyone who has done any medical billing will get a kick out of this one, me too as I have done some billing, it all is in the coding and the processing of 
the algorithms that process the codes used to match up to see how much you will get compensated, and sometimes it’s not always the same either, even within the same shop.
What would life be without ICD and CPT codes. BD
A man and his wife, moved back home to Oklahoma , from Chicago . The husband had a wooden leg, and to insure it back in Chicago cost them $2000. Per year!
When they arrived in Oklahoma , they went to an insurance agency to see how much it would cost to insure his wooden leg.
The agent looked it up on the computer and said: '$39.'
The man was shocked and asked why it was so cheap here in
Oklahoma to insure it because it cost him $2000 in Chicago!
The insurance agent turned his computer screen to the couple and said,
'Well, here it is on the screen, it says:
Any wooden structure, with a sprinkler system above it, is $39...
You just have to know how to describe it!'
