In today’s update the video from CBS shows local government employees being taken care of, one with a $1000.00 co-payment for her child which imageshe could not afford for a two week check up.  When you watch the video you will see this is a very mixed crowd and they come from all over southern California.

Disability checks not large enough to cover one man’s need for glasses.  Many people today have insurance, but it’s not enough or the deductibles are too high and as one doctor who was interviewed in the video stated, there are also many who work for small companies who cannot afford to provide health insurance, so they go without.  She also stated there’s a much a need here in the US as well as other countries, she travels and has donated time in other countries and make the comparison.
