One more major healthcare organization joins the ranks of healthcare at Twitter. So far only a couple announcements, but I’m sure there will be much more to come. The first tweet links to information about e-prescribing, good topic for starters. BD
As the nation continues to work toward health-system reform, the AMA will use Twitter to provide updates on what is needed to better serve patients and to empower physicians to deliver the highest quality care.
The first AMA “tweet” announces the AMA’s new online e-prescribing learning center to provide physicians with all of the information and tools they need to make informed decisions about electronic prescribing. The physician learning center can be found at www.ama-assn.org/go/eprescribing.
