President resigns and returns as a 6 month contracted consultant...CEO will handle the additional role....BD

Larry Anderson, president of Integrated Healthcare Holdings Inc., which owns four hospitals in central Orange County, has quit his job and signed a six-month consulting agreement with the company, according to a regulatory filing Monday.

Anderson founded the company that in 2005 bought the four hospitals from Tenet Healthcare Corp. He served as the company’s chief spokesman as it battled opposition from local doctors to complete the purchases. Last year, Anderson helped quash a revolt by physician-shareholders who sought to oust him and Bruce Mogel, the company’s chief executive.

Under a severance agreement, Anderson will receive about $465,000, the filing said. He will earn $180,000 under the six-month consulting agreement. He also stands to earn an additional $310,000 if IHHI’s planned $68 million acquisition of Anaheim Memorial Medical Center is completed, the filing said.
