More Staff Training Could Reduce Data Breaches

Something I could not agree on more...take all the training you can get with any EMR/EHR system....training is half the battle.  BD 

Last week, the American Health Information Management Association released a report that said employee training is the key to ensuring electronic health records remain secure and that recent breaches of celebrities' EHRs might be attributable to a lack of training, Healthcare IT News reports.
The report, called "Online, on Message, on Duty: Privacy Experts Share Their Challenges," includes the opinions of four data management privacy experts and focuses on the need for proper controls, restricting access to the EHR systems and controlling employee behavior.
