Sylvester Stallone Breaks His Neck During Filming The Expendables Movie

We always hear how Stallone does his own stunts, but this one was a little extra tough and he now has a metal plate in his neck. This will be fun in the future explaining to TSA, maybe? Sylvester Stallone has revealed he broke his neck while filming the new action movie The Expendables.

It stars some the biggest names in the action movie genre, including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke and Jason Statham.

Stallone says he suffered a hairline fracture in one of his neck vertebra during a fight scene with wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin.

It required surgery to repair and he now has a metal plate in his neck.
