As this article states, they didn’t evaluate women, but think it would work for us too.  We get some exercise from sex and the study also said men who are in a imagesupportive relationship live longer when having a regular partner.

Your doctor may now be inquiring about your schedule here too, basically from the angle of determining physical limitations or problems.  About 1000 men were tracked for this study from 40-70 years of age that had no prior history of heart disease.

I’m not exactly sure how the study was done on the results published here, but did the other 55% develop heart disease?   Where’s the same study for women or do we not get a study?  Inquiring minds want to know (grin).  The video below is interesting as the one discussion asks “can I drop my Crestor now”.  BD

(CBS) A new study in the American Journal of Cardiology finds that men who have sex at least twice a week can almost halve their risk of developing serious heart disease.
And sex may have other health benefits, as well, notes Dr. Holly Phillips of WCBS-TV in New York.
On "The Early Show" Friday, Phillips said the research, published in the American Journal of Cardiology, tracked more than 1,000 men for 16 years, 40- to 70-years-old, with no history of heart disease.
It was found that men who had sex twice a week or more were as much as 45 percent less likely to develop serious heart conditions than men having sex less than once a month.
