Tech Data Corporation, a leading distributor of IT products, today announced a distribution agreement with Greenway Medical Technologies, Inc. Through its Healthcare Specialized Business Unit (SBU), Tech Data distributes Greenway’s single-database electronic health records (EHR), practice management and interoperability solution, PrimeSuite(R), that enhances patient care and streamlines operations for healthcare providers nationwide. These solutions help doctors qualify for EHR adoption incentives created by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
“Tech Data now has one of the channel’s strongest healthcare IT solutions portfolios,” said Tech Data Vice President, Services Barb Miller. “Since we established our Healthcare SBU last fall, we’ve partnered with new and existing vendors to add the right solutions to our line card so our reseller customers can capitalize on the rising demand for healthcare IT. The addition of Greenway further expands our EHR and practice management software offering, enabling resellers to select the solutions that best meet their healthcare-provider customers’ unique needs.”
