If you are a doctor you might check out and what is listed about yourself on the web as it appears someone out there has the key and dollars to the “master” data base here and is probably making a few million marketing it. It appears that even last week CMS may have bought the same flawed information.

So other than being flawed, this is also a big deal as crooks mine data too and find loopholes to commit fraud but duh, everyone complains about fraud, and me too, but nobody does anything to at least get correct data out there both for the consumer and to NOT expose crappy outdated information which a crook can use to figure out data inconsistencies and send in fraudulent billing, aka algorithms but let’s stay in denial and pretend that doesn’t happen right? Duh!
