image This is probably one of the sweetest subsidized arrangements with 60% of the cost being absorbed by the hospital, which is by the way one of the best in Orange County and I have worked on fundraisers for the hospital in the past.  Doctors choosing ECW will have remote access using the application service provider computing model.  The software will be offered to over 1100 affiliated physicians in the area.  One more hospital/practice integration taking place.  The consulting firm appears to have many former employees of Alteer who was also in the news today with RX integration, and is also a very popular medical records program. 1. This is "old" news. Hoag announced they were approving the first three vendors months ago. Allscripts, Nextgen and eCW were picked as approved vendors initially and there is on-going talk to add others. Greenway Medical, is among those that has been mentioned, though the second round of approved vendors has not been decided yet.
