The initial pilot was done in Washington and now it is moving into a nationwide effort. I posted about the company back in Augusts and you can see a video and find more details at the link below. You can also follow the site on Twitter.
PriceDoc.Com, “Price Line for Doctors” – “Deal or No Deal”
This is basically what you read in the title. There are a couple areas and thus far the service is available in the State of Washington. Take a look and visit the site and enter some zip codes and see what you come up with. It includes dental, medial, surgical procedures, chiropractors, and more.
I did a little spot checking and found some California doctors listed already, this was a search for an annual women’s exam. BD
After a successful pilot program in the Seattle area, a website that matches cash-paying patients to healthcare providers is slated to launch nationwide on November 2.
PriceDoc is similar to web pages that help travelers find the best deals, but is the first to connect the cash-paying patients to providers.
“PriceDoc is a win-win solution for physicians and patients,” says Glenn Safadago, CMO of PriceDoc, in a company press release. “PriceDoc helps patients who have avoided care because of the cost, find a qualified provider that’s right for them at an affordable price. Providers save money by eliminating payment delays from insurance companies and improves their cash flow by introducing new, cash-paying patients.”
