From what has been posted so far Derek Thomas had refused to put on a hospital gown and was basically there due to having issues related to suicide. When he 
refused to change clothes, that was when things kicked into action.
Clarence Thomas is on his way to the hospital in Jefferson parish to find out what happened and why a taser was used at the hospital as it created a major seizure as a result of the nephew having epilepsy.
I had no idea myself that hospitals had tasers but I am assuming it is the security officers who have them if needed. The news report also said some of his hair was pulled out and that he had been beaten, presumably on the head the story reports. I am sure there will be more forthcoming on what happened at the hospital. Family members want to have the nephew transferred to another facility but so far that has not happened yet. BD
