Where is technology going in healthcare?  Here's one nice story that got a man who was paralyzed for over 20 years out of the wheelchair and out walking again.  I like stories like this.  I'm sure the Department of Defense is all over this too as they have many new inventive devicesimage that are in the same area.  This is not ready for prime time, but a nice preview of what's coming!  BD

Radi Kaiof, 41 had been paralyzed for the past 20 years is now able to walk again with  the assistance electronic exoskeleton. Radi had lost all hopes of walking after he was while serving in the Israeli military in 1988. But this revolutionary device made it possible for him to walk again. He can now walk down the street with a dim mechanical hum as the system moves his legs and propels him forwards. Rafi happily says that now I feel how tall I really am and speak to people eye to eye, not from below.
