This is somewhat of a strange story about an outdoor advertiser trying to offer Pfizer some free advertising with Viagra, but obviously the judge and Pfizer were not in agreement.

The big missile was paraded around Manhattan with the Viva Viagra advertising on it, parked in front of Pfizer's headquarters imageand the action began after that.  Pfizer no doubt has done some strange and controversial with Viagra advertising, but I guess this shows you should really check with the company before handing out free advertising that may not comply with policies, so the Viagra missile right now is no more, at least it won’t be carrying the free publicity offered by the agency.  BD

The stunt, staged by an outfit called Jet Angel, tested the marketing maxim that there is no such thing as bad publicity. Pfizer, not amused, went to court to prevent a repeat performance.

Our friends at WSJ’s Law Blog reported that Pfizer’s outside trademark attorneys appeared in federal court in New York  yesterday to argue for a preliminary injunction in the drugmaker’s battle against a man named Arye Sachs and his company, Jet Angel.

Jet Angel didn’t return a call for comment from the Law Blog. A Pfizer spokeswoman said, in a statement, “While we do not comment on pending litigation - we do feel it is important to protect the integrity of our medicines.”

‘Jet Angel hopes that you enjoyed yesterday’s visit to NYC including all your free PR. It is the intention to make a second trip next week, with the VIAGRA Missile, and ‘riding’ on top will be two models handing out free condoms!

LOOK AT ALL THE PEOPLE STARRING, THE JOY, THE IMPRESSIONS!!!!’’'
