We all know the value of a sterile environment and fight this all the time. The new approach would a coat of bacterial killing paint. Enzyme coating in the paint could take any surface and make it sterile. They are using what nature uses with nano particles. So far this is just in the labs but working. It will be around 5 years they project until available.
It is working better than washing surfaces and takes a few hours to rid the environment of bacteria and this would also be good for the food industry. BD
