Participation and contributions with this project are no problem and the power of the imagetoilet is providing energy solutions to around 200 homes.   It takes 3 weeks and the average consumer produces around 30 kilos of raw material every year.  That was interesting to find out too.

The smell of natural gas is added and it burns just like regular gas.  This could be fueling many additional homes in the near future and they are doing something useful here as it has to go somewhere.  There’s certainly no shortage of raw material <grin>.  BD

Oct 6 - British householders are cooking and staying warm with gas produced in their toilets following the completion of a project to make biomethane from human waste and distribute it through the country's gas network. Stuart McDill reports.

  1. And this is how we will finally get to the stars, ladies and gentlemen. As long as we depend on expensive and draining pailoads to power rockets we are going to be very earthbound. Only when there's a light, portable, but extremely powerful fuel can we hope to get into the galatic exploration business.
