I’m not kidding on the snake bait here as I am sure the snakes and mice would not have a problem as Tylenol products are used to kill the brown tree snakes in Guam that are taking over. Dead mice are packed up and loaded with Tylenol and dropped from helicopters and when the snakes chow down they die, and the dead mice have transmitters so they can find the dead snakes that ate them.

We still need a better recall system so once more here’s my mention of using 2D bar code scanning.

There have been requests to establish a UDI for devices and Johnson and Johnson has a few of those going on too so why not solve the entire problem with one solution that is simple and easy for anyone to use.

A Johnson & Johnson unit said it is recalling more than 100,000 bottles of Tylenol 8-Hour caplets after a small number of complaints about a musty or moldy odor.

The odor is thought to be caused by trace amounts of a chemical called 2,4,6-tribromoanisole. The recall is for one product lot, which includes 127,728 bottles, according to a J&J spokesman.

The drug maker's McNeil Consumer Healthcare unit said the voluntary recall was a precaution and the risk of medical problems is remote. So far, effects have been temporary and not serious.
