To find out it was cancer too had to be unnerving for her as well, it took 3 operations over 2 months to remove it and it also cost here a kidney in the process. The bad news though is that it could return. It took 15 – 20 years to grow. Sometimes going to a new doctor can be helpful as they will look for everything to do a complete write up from the start.
It amazing that it took so long to find it at the huge size. Perhaps there had not been any imaging done to find it and they just thought she was over weight. I would think imaging would have shown it right away. Well at least she can look forward to having to carry around a little less weight in the future. BD
