Epocrates, best known for its online drug reference database, now also offers physicians free access to disease diagnosis and treatment information via the Internet. The San Mateo, Calif.-based company developed the service, Epocrates Online, in partnership with BMJ Group, the London-based publisher of the British Medical Journal. Epocrates Online offers peer-reviewed content, prepared by physicians with the guidance of BMJ Group, that's integrated with Epocrates drug database.
