Cerner Corp. has signed its first client in Latin America, a 220-bed private hospital in Santiago, Chile. Clinica Las Condes will be the first hospital in Latin America to use Cerners Millennium health care software, the North Kansas City-based software company said today. The hospital handles 372,000 patients a year. We believe the Cerner Millennium solutions proven track record of helping clinicians improve care processes in inpatient settings will help us deliver world-class care to our patients in Santiago, said Helen Sotomayor Peragallo, chief information officer for Clinica Las Condes.
