This is called the “Wall of Knowledge” so everyone can see what is going on at any time. The amount of data integration here is phenomenal. One 
glance at the wall tells when antibiotics have been administered right in the OR. It is also used for teaching medical students.

Eventually the system can be used for teaching at remote locations as well. I can see this becoming somewhat of a main stay when operating rooms are either upgraded or new ones built. Massachusetts General Hospital was the site of the first installation of the “Wall of Knowledge”. BD
