This is a great video from TED, with Aimee Mullins talking about her 12 pairs of prosthetic legs, and how it all started.  One individual was actually jealous as now she was so tall!   Thanks to Berci over at Science Roll for finding this one, great video and she says something we can all relate too.  In the last 10 years we certainly have more than we ever thought about, that is for sure.

Not only prosthetics, but saving and mending body parts with regenerative medicine as well.  BD

“Athlete, actor and activist Aimee Mullins talks about her prosthetic legs — she’s got a dozen amazing pairs — and the super-powers they grant her: speed, beauty, an extra 6 inches of height … Quite simply, she redefines what the body can be.”
