SafeMed Inc. announced its involvement with the Google Inc. initiative March 4, a week after Google spoke about its latest venture into the business of online medical records at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society conference in Orlando, Fla.
The San Diego startup will integrate its analysis engine into the Google Health platform to help patients monitor drug dosage and identify negative interactions, according to Richard Noffsinger, chief executive officer of SafeMed.
