The head of Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital has taken a leave of absence while allegations of "inappropriate behavior" are investigated, the Enterprise of Brockton reports today.

Norman B. Goodman, president and chief executive officer of the Brockton area's largest hospital for almost 20 years, agreed to take a leave of absence after a request from the hospital's trustees, the paper says. The trustees asked for the leave and an investigation after receiving “allegations of inappropriate behavior.” The trustees did not specify what the allegations were.
