At least this time we have a year this time so perhaps somewhere along the line a permanent fix could be created.  This has gone now for I think around 10 years and imagecorrect me if I am wrong here but it’s way over due for a permanent fix as the provisions written 10 years ago don’t apply today.

At least this time I don’t have to go back and resubmit claims again as I had some get lost with the extra work created last time when CMS has to reset the data files a couple times to be compliant with the laws that were in place as the contractor at Medicare seemed to have some errors with all this switching around.  BD

WASHINGTON, Dec. 9, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The following statement is attributable to Cecil B. Wilson, M.D., President of the American Medical Association (AMA):

Stopping the steep 25 percent Medicare cut for one year was vital to preserve seniors' access to physician care in 2011.  Many physicians made clear that this year's roller coaster ride, caused by five delays of this year's cut, forced them to make difficult practice changes like limiting the number of Medicare patients they could treat.
