You know what, it might be time to say adios sadly to these awards as they are not bringing the positive recognition that they used to.  This case was filed here in the good old OC where I live.  Maybe he was first?  Maybe it’s a better idea to give these award in the humankind area and stay out of the science end of it.  I sad myself the other award imagegiven was weird in my opinion as they basically gave it to an algorithm, same one used by dating sites.  I am not discounting any of their work as it is all good but maybe what we are seeing here is the complexities of the Nobel Institute to decipher some of this.  Heck I do this blog and I have a difficult time too making sure I have everything correct and I’m sure I mess up too.  This is what I said in October about the other Nobel prize, so my question was this was “using” an algorithm and not even creating it and I could use it too but I may not have been able to accomplish this residency matching system.

Nobel Prize for Residency Match System Not Much Different Than What You Get From a Dating Site These Days– Flow Sheets And the Dangers of An “Algo Duped” Naïve Society That Gets Sucked In Too Often

A little satire here on my post back in October, being dating sites use this algorithm where’s the award for Match.com or any dating site using it.  I recognized it right away when I read the award.  So maybe giving awards to “great humanitarian acts of people” could be worth a discussion? I thought the Clinton Foundation or the Clinton’s themselves would have been great recipients and add Bill Gates to that list for example too.  Yes it sounds like the science and technology end of this is getting over the heads of the judges maybe due to the complex world we live in.  They could always get some new judges too.  BD
