Microsoft working with WHO to help out with free data assistance. The websites are getting over loaded with individuals looking for information relative to the flu pandemic. It is called the Microsoft Emergency Operation Center, help for governments and non profit agencies. Interesting that the video states that “few” people know they are there. In addition to internet services, they also deploy people on site to get everything back together. The websites that need addition space can use Microsoft Servers to host their websites as well to enable more traffic to get through for the information they need.
