It appears all is not fair in love and transplants these days.  BD 

Shands, a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Florida in Gainesville, removed him from a transplant waiting list because his uncertain living situation means he not be well cared for in the two years following the procedure, when the risk of health problems is high. Hospital administrators worry the state’s shaky child-welfare system won’t be able to guarantee he’ll have a permanent home for two years after a transplant.
