Just last week I posted about the new EHR being offered by MedPlus Care 360. In addition they are now offering a 6 month free trial of their e-prescribing solution as well. Also in the news for Quest was the FDA approval for the test to detect H1N1 Swine flu, and hopefully not too many of us will need that and stay healthy, but if we do, it’s there.

Quest/Care 360 is unique in the fact that they have their own offerings as well as coordinating with other Health IT systems and software to include RIO and HIE projects. A relatively mild hurricane season and better investment results boosted Quest Diagnostics Inc.'s third-quarter sales and earnings.
The Madison, N.J.-based molecular diagnostics maker said net revenues for the three months ended Sept. 30 rose 3.9 percent to $1.9 billion, compared with $1.83 billion during the same period last year.
Quarterly net income surged to $192.2 million, up 73.5 percent compared with $110.8 million during the third quarter of 2008.
