Holy Cross Hospital Inc. has paid $20 million to purchase the North Ridge Medical Center at 5757 N. Dixie Highway in Fort Lauderdale, along with an 8,230-square-foot office building at 951 NE 56th St. in Oakland Park, FL. The seller was Tenet Healthcare Corp.
North Ridge Medical Center, a non- medical health care institution, has 332 beds over six stories and about 370,000 square feet. The buyer plans to close the hospital, shifting its operations to Holy Cross Hospital at 4725 N. Federal Highway.
